BROAD STREET OFF RAMP
The Broad Street Off Ramp features a bridge over Raes Creek in Augusta, Georgia. This historic bridge was built in 1916 for the City of Augusta.
CSI Geo’s objective was to core the existing pavement to determine the thickness and type of pavement and roadway base material, and to determine if concrete pavement was present under the asphalt pavement in the vicinity of the bridge approach.

CAMP MILTON HISTORIC PRESERVE
Camp Milton is a site of a civil war era encampment upon which City of Jacksonville developed a municipal park. This extensive development included the construction of four out buildings, an education building, a museum building, two kiosks, restrooms, two pedestrian bridges, and a vehicular bridge. Other features of the project included a paved roadway, several trails and parking, fire protection pond, stormwater treatment swales, and a septic field.
As part of the geotechnical investigation and evaluation, CSI Geo developed foundation design recommendations for the new structures and evaluated the allowable compressive capacities of timber piles for the new bridge structures.

OLD WAYNESBORO ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
CSI Geo performed a full geotechnical investigation and provided geotechnical engineering services for the replacement of the existing structurally deficient bridge Old Waynesboro Road over Spirit Creek in the City of Augusta. The bridge was built in 1959.
The findings from this investigation were incorporated into a Bridge Foundation Report, which provided recommendations for the design of pile foundations, minimum tip elevations, nominal bearing resistance, and test pile lengths.
