CSI Geo

The owner of CSI Geo, Inc. William “Bill” Price has been a Trail Blazer for the African American engineering business community since October 1989 when he founded Civil Services, Inc. (CSI) – the first AA multi-disciplinary firm in Jacksonville. At that time, CSI provided Construction Material Testing (CMT), Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI), Geotechnical Engineering, Structural, Roadway, Drainage and Water Resources engineering design along with various other design services. In 2007, Mr. Price also founded CSI Geo, Inc. to specialize in CEI, CMT, and Geotechnical Services. As a result, this influenced other minority firms to explore self-employment in the engineering design services market. We are an extremely diverse environment with a staff of 38% minority. Our officers and employees are comprised of individuals of African-American, Asian, Persian, White, Indian, Nigerian, and Hispanic descent. We were awarded The Business Journal “Diversity Award”.  We maintain fair and consistent hiring and promotion practices, creating a balanced company demographic.
